1690 Ireland Gunmoney Crown - James II Copper/Brass Coin - Very Nice

All crown coins were struck in June 1690 at the Dublin mint and were struck over a large Gunmoney halfcrown coins, in this case much of the legends of the underlying coin remain, with the legends of the crown coin omitted in places to both sides, therefore the variety can’t be determined.

A very nice coin, an excellent level of detail remaining to the central obverse design and with good surfaces.
